- Indication
Mepacolon is used in gastro-intestinal disorders characterized by smooth muscle spasm including: irritable bowel syndrome; irritable colon, in its primary form or associated with organic lesions of the GIT such as diverticulosis of the colon, biliary dyskinesia, dysentery, and regional enteritis.
