Each tablet contains:

Folic acid 500 µg

• There is an increased requirement for folic acid during pregnancy , may reduce the risk of having a child with spina bifida/neural tube defects .

• Used in the treatment of megaloblastic anemias due to deficiency of folic acid.

• Used in the treatment of anemias of nutritional origin.

• Folic acid may assist in lowering homocysteine levels .

• Adequate folic acid helps maintain cognitive health, especially in older people
